Label Consciousness?

Label Consciousness?

So here's a picture of a lady wearing a scarf on her head with the full label from the fabric manufacturer attached.  What's more, she's tied the scarf in a way that maximizes the label.
In case you're confused, she's wearing a print fabric (ankara)which you usually get in bolts of fabric and you have to make into whatever style you desire.  She's left some part of the fabric to be tied as a scarf.  Now this particular designer (Da Viva ) makes some of the better quality, higher-end fabrics in that market.  So methinks the lady really wants us to know she isn't wearing any old print, she's wearing Da Viva! Better recognize!
Otherwise, why the frikkadel would you want to be a walking billboard?

So, here's my brand new blog, dedicated to... you guessed it! Showing people the error of their fashion choices.  Okay I'm half-joking.  It's just where I'm going to share pictures of quirky or cute or heinous or on-point modes of dress that I see.  Been doing something similar on a smaller scale and one of my friends jokingly called me Joan-Rivers-without-the-surgery, so I thought why not? But since she's such an icon in that industry and I myself am a loyal member of her posse- The Joan Rangers, I think I would only be justified to refer to myself as a fashion mall cop, with none of the powers, obviously, of the Fashion Police of E!
Please do post your comments.  It would be absolutely no fun if you do not!
